 febfun stuff in february

It's Tough to Be Camden

We dressed up for our first outing in Mom's favorite preppy outfit.  The yawning began before the outing...he is sleeping a LOT still.  We're getting a good seven hours at night, so there is very little complaining about this kid in the Bond house.  As you can see from the peaceful look on his face, the rumors about getting used to the sounds of the siblings while in the womb must be true.  Since we don't have many opportunities to actually wear jackets, we had to get a quick picture of this one.

Our First Week at Home

The brothers are still somewhat interested in him.  He is in his incredibly soft blanket at left, and incredibly cute rooting at right.  His features are most like Riley's, we think.

Giving the Lungs a Workout

Here is the "I'm Hungry" expression, which we see just about anytime Camden isn't sleeping or spitting up.
His entire body turns bright red when he cries.

The Burrito Boy stage is our favorite!
He really, really looks like Tal in this one.

Long Drink of Water

So we finally got some pictures of those long arms & legs.  And you can see a dimple in this picture on the right. He flashes the dimples so fast, they're hard to catch on camera.  Check out those chubby cheeks!

  Two Weeks!

I can't believe he is two weeks old already.  He weighed 9 pounds, 5 ounces at yesterday's pediatrician visit...just under Reagan's birth weight!  He even fell asleep on the exam table while the doctor was poking at him.  How about these sweet little feet?

Growing So Fast
This first few weeks are flying.  Camden is a terrific baby.  Gramma came and stayed with us for a few days and we had a blast.  We don't get a lot of cool weather, but one chilly day we got to wear the fuzzy cover-up...such fun.  Camden is a huge fan of the nighttime bath.

Art Class?
Couldn't resist this one. We have an almost-nightly party in the tub.  Daddy has shown some real skillz with darn good renderings of the Rover and TV (playing Blue's Clues, of course).  Below, they escaped like jailbirds in their jammies.

Pests in the Pantry

Definitely the worst day of the year so far...we got pantry beetles. It literally pushed me into insanity.  And for those who have seen our stuffed pantry, you know that this is a miracle.  Oh, and the trash bags went outside, and the critters ripped the bags opened twice, and so the domestic bliss continues...

In spite of the bugs, February was a great month.  We're starting to get a little routine (although NOT attempting to get out much), and we love having Camden around!
