Here are some pictures of the house from Mom's Christmas party. If nothing else, it got the house shaped up! We were SCRAMBLING!!! I'm officially leaving the tree up until January 31 so I can have a couple weeks to actually enjoy it.

The table and chairs went to the great room, so the big chairs made the dining room a cuter-than-expected little sitting area:

The house has had such a huge makeover lately. I dismantled the guest room, but not completely (there is still a bed and bath, for you guests who are wondering) and turned it into the Rs' room. The desk set came down to the previously-unused "front room," which has been rechristened the Wii Room. Who knew it would become so popular? We have a long way to go (black baby grand piano in the great room would free up some space in here, for instance), but anyone who saw this room before will be pleasantly surprised at the makeover.

Here are the kids making gingerbread in the theater, on nice trays and on top of sheets. Once the babysitter volunteers left, they ran around with them and covered the carpet with marshmallows, sprinkles, and frosting.
